My daughter-in-law was over today with her 6 week old baby. We were talking about some of the things she received as gifts that she has really enjoyed using. The nursing cover by The Peanut Shell is her favorite cover. The reason she likes it so much is the clasp that clips the strap that goes around the neck to the cover is different from other covers she has. Since I couldn't see the clasp in the product picture and didn't see it described anywhere, I thought a review would be beneficial. The clasp is similar to ones that fasten the strap on overalls. Once she has adjusted the length to her liking, it stays there. It's also easy to fasten and unfasten. She doesn't have to thread the strap through the rings as she has to do on other covers she has. This one can be clasped with one hand, also unlike the others. Since you are usually holding a baby, this is pretty important. I like this, even though the pattern screams "nursing cover" (why doesn't anyone make just a solid white/black/beige cover?) It is very light, so my baby and I don't overheat and he doesn't mind being under it at all. It would be nice if it had the terry cloth patch that some others have, but overall I'm really happy with it.

This product looks great. Is longer than the waist so lots of versatiliy. The molded section at the top is perfect.
