Simplisse Nipple Wipes, 60 Count

I am almost exclusively pumping and these really soothe my nipples well. Much better than "the First Years" nipple wipes which ended up irritating me. My only complaint is that the scent of these is pretty strong, kind of sickly sweet vanilla. I would prefer unscented/more natural.

I LOVE these nipple wipes. I'm a second time mom and breastfed my first for 2 years. Minus a ton of food allergies, I never really had much nipple pain or soreness. However, this time around, even with a good latch, my nipples have been put through the ringer. We battled 2 rounds of thrush and a round of mastitis... after all of that, it left me with some nipple trauma, soreness, and the worst part, very dry nipples from all the treatments and vinegar rinses. I wanted to stay away from the think creams as these can create a barrier and a encourage yeast growth so I purchased these wipes. They have been AMAZING. Within a few days of using them, I've noticed a dramatic difference in the pain at latch on. A couple of weeks ago, I thought we had thrush again, but started using these to add moisture and see if it was indeed thrush or trauma. I tried the First Year's (FY) wipes and I found myself tearing them in half because they were so big. Both brands have a sweet, odd smell to them, but no fragrance was added and it doesn't bother me at all. These seem more moist than FY wipes and I like the size of them. They glide across the skin. Since I follow them with nipple cream, I can't vouch for the moisturizing benefits of these alone. I love them for wiping off the milk for a clean feeling after feeding or pumping. I highly recommend.
