I bought these for my sore nipples and they seemed to help a lot--the open area allows air to circulate around the nipple so you can "air out" the nipple while staying covered up. So that's nice. However, if you produce a lot of milk, the cups will fill up quickly and when you bend over, you'll leak. This makes it difficult to wear them all day long. I wish they were a bit bigger but it's a small price to pay for the comfort they provide. The silicone/plastic back is very comfortable against the skin and is great at staying in place. Overall, a good purchase and I'm glad I have them; my nipples are still sore sometimes (after months of breastfeeding).
Looks great but size isn't right for me,

The design of the breast shell looks great and it is smaller than the brand Avent breast shell.
Unfortunately, the hole of the breast shell is too small for my nipple.
I have to buy another new set of breast shell from other brand.
Sort of works, but has issues,

My nursing bra size is DD, so perhaps it's because I'm on the well-endowed side, but these just don't fit me well. They create a bit of a mushroom-cap look under a camisole, plus they STICK to my skin! After wearing them for a few minutes they have to be peeled off. It's not painful, but not very comfortable, either. On the plus side, they do a decent job of catching leaking milk, but be careful not to lean forward (leaking when bending forward is unavoidable, because of the vent holes). Even with all of these issues, my sore nipples DO feel better after wearing these around the house for a while during the day. I just wouldn't wear these in public, sleep in them, or wear them for too long at once.
