The Pump-a-Pairs are completely unnecessary.
I was excited to get this product because I was going back to work, needed to pump often and didn't want to have to take off my nursing bra to put on one of those pumping bras each time - this product seemed like the solution.
What I soon realized, is that you don't need these extenders at all, you can just use your bra to hold the pump in place without the extenders. On top of that, the extenders are somewhat flimsy and didn't hold in place very well. My bra does a better job at keeping everything in place. Just unsnap your bra strap, place the pump on, then re-snap your bra strap...easy-peasy.
The only reason I gave it three stars is because it gave me the idea of just using my bra, and if it didn't exist I would have ended up buying one of those horrible elastic pumping bras and pumping would have taken even longer than it does now!

A necessity for all breast pumps,

This is a great product! It is easy to use, and actually allows me to pump truly hands free. It is much easier than the hands free system that came with my breast pump, which doesn't work very well. Pump A Pair is a necessity for any breast pump.

I received a pair of these after my second child was born. They are great - I wish I had them for my first! Pump-a-pair's are MUCH easier to use and far more comfortable than the hands-free system that came with my breast pump. I can attach them with one hand which is a great feature if you realize you need to go hands-free after you've begun pumping.
