I tried Medela, Gerber, Platex and Ameda. The Platex ones were just really gooey and messy. It took a while to get all the residue off before nursing. They were relieving, but not even in the same ballpark as the others. I HIGHLY recommend the Ameda ComfortGel hydrogel pads. They last MUCH longer, absolutely no mess or stickiness like the others and are so soothing - especially if you keep them in the fridge between uses like the lactation consultant at the hospital recommended to me 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: Not impressed, Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
