Not an original Medela product but a darn good one,

This review is from: NEW Valve × 4 & Membranes × 6 Replacement for Medela Breastpumps Part #87089 (Baby Product)
This is a replacement valve and membranes for Medela Breastpumps, but it is not an original Medela product. My Medela breast pump started to loose its suction power after I had followed the instruction to disinfect the parts in a boiling water. After a while, the valves started to loose the original suction power because of slight warping in the plastic parts. I was at first skeptical of purchasing generic replacement parts, but I was tempted by the price. I was worried that maybe I will end up with a junk and get what I paid for, but was pleasantly surprised to find out that these replacement parts worked just as well, if not better than the original Medela valves. The suction power of the breast pump is back to what it used to be. The added bonus is that these replacement parts come in a nice small plastic case. It comes in handy keeping the spare parts dust free and from getting lost.
Fits but . . .,

These valves are a cheaper alternative to Medela brand parts. They fit the pump parts, but they were so tight. I needed to use pliers to separate the valve from the breast shields for cleaning, an inconvenient avoidable hassle.
Poor suction and air leak,

I got these as spares for my Medela Pump In Style pump. I just wanted backups in case mine broke or got lost, but I tried them when I got them to see how they work. They work, but not well at all! They just did NOT hold suction as well as the Medela brand valves/membranes. I couldn't finish pumping on one side because the suction was so poor. And the other side, I felt like it took twice as long because of the poor suction - I do NOT have the time for a pumping session to last twice as long as usual, and I'm sure many people don't!! They also make a LOT more noise because they don't fit as well on the connector (so there is a slight air leak which is quite noisy). Forget about being discrete...
I don't recommend using these unless you are in a major pinch! I'll probably never use them again, so it was a waste of money. I am now buying Medela brand valves/membranes as backups instead.
