My Brest Friend Adjustable Nursing Stool, Wood

We like our Brest Friend nursing pillow, and figured we'd get the stool to go with it. The adjustable feature is nice, and helps get the proper alignment for feet while nursing. As other reviewers have noted, the thumb screws aren't appropriate for frequent adjustments, and you'd want to screw them down tight, so toddlers don't unscrew and run off with them.

The non-slip sandpaper top is great to keep sock feet from slipping off, but is incredibly scratchy for bare feet or toddler's bare skin. You don't want toddler knees or hands on the top of this stool - rubber would have been *much* smarter and safer.

While un-boxing and assembling the stool, the quality was incredibly poor. As delivered, the legs were already broken in half. Not surprising, since the legs were simply strips of scrap wood glued together (not plywood), without proper joinery. For a first time nursing mother this stool is a must if you are not very tall. I am barely 5'4" and found that my legs would start to cramp while nursing and my back would hurt more. I like that this stool adjusts so that it can be used as a regular stool when I am done nursing. I also have the My Brest Friend nursing pillow and it has been a lifesaver. When my son was first born he would slide off of the boppy and neither of us could nurse comfortably. Since the pillow straps on it stays in place and you can concentrate on nursing rather than adjusting the pillow. The combination of the pillow and stool is really great and has made nursing more enjoyable.

does the trick but hate the fact that it has anti slipper bands on top of it. they are very rough on feet when im barefeet and when im using socks they get caught on it.
