This made pumping less painful and more productive, once I figured out that the standard size were too big. The size of the brestshield has little to do with the size of your breast. I wish most baby retailers carried this in their store, but they usually just carry the larger size. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem.

One size smaller than the shields that come with the pump. This is the smallest size available. Try it if you feel like half of your breast is being sucked into the shield. I like it but wished they came in SoftFit as well. The only thing "wrong" about them is that they seem a little harder to push into the connectors.

The standard medela size breastshield that came with my pump in style were too big. It took me so long to figure out why I couldn't express very much milk. I would pump for a half an hour and get very little milk. Milk would be everywhere and very messy. I finally did a lot of research on medela's website and on the internet to figure out if I was doing it correctly. The only thing I could find was the shield may be too large so I purchased these. They are great - no more messes and I can express milk in 10 minutes! I highly recommend moms out there to experiment with different sizes. You can find a size chart on medela's website to help find which will work best for you. Very happy with the product and the shipping didn't take long.
