My family discovered this product over 20 years ago, when I was nursing my children and then as business owner, renting and selling breastpumps and other breastfeeding aid products. It is easy to find this in a 2 oz tube, but these 1/4 oz tubes are bit more challenging to locate. This is my families "first aid" product of choice. We use it on our lips to prevent or heal chapped lips and for any sort of cut or scrap. We even use it on our dogs and cats. These small tubes, make it easy to have a tube designated for each use/user. The principles that apply to healing working better under a bandage also apply here. Skin cells are designed to live in a moist environment. When you allow lips or scrapes to dry, new cells have to come to the surface from underneath to heal the area, allowing only one route for each cell.
