Imse Vimse flannelette nursing pads are used for absorbing milk leakage. The natural cotton absorbs moisture and can be machine washed. I have some flannel pads from 10 years ago (no joke) when I nursed my son and they held up wonderfully (different brand), and I was hoping these were similar. Instead, these are ok on the softness, but not nearly as convenient. The others get softer each wash, and stay flat while these crinkle around the edges so I have lumps in my bra, and hello, why put a tag on something going against your skin? Dumb. Ok if you can't find any others, but if you can, I'd try alternates.

I used it for almost a year. It washes easily, keeps the shape, and holds minimal to moderate leakage. For heavy milk leakage, buy disposable pads.

These pads are very comfortable and hold shape well, but mine have leaked through after one letdown on a fresh set. Will revisit and update review when I have a more established milk supply in a few weeks.
