Comment: I love this pump- so far it has worked wonderful for me. I've been pumping exclusively for the past 5 months and found it was nearly seemless to go from using the hospital pump to this one. The one thing I LOVE about it is that it fits all of Medela's products. I am a super pumper ( I get around 16 oz's per pump 8 a breast) so I need a larger container to collect and find that Medela's products to collect are much better for me to use and work with this pump.

Comment: This pump is excellent. I am an exclusive pumper and was renting a hospital grade pump (the Medela Symphony). I decided to buy the Hygeia pump when I was returning to work.
A word of caution: when I first got it, it didn't work. My husband figured out that it was because of the valves. They are a duckbill design and there was too much space between the "bill". Hygeia overnighted me new valves and they have worked perfectly but they did squeak at first.
Overall, this pump is incredibly fast, strong and effective. I would say it works as well as the Symphony, perhaps faster. I built up my supply with the symphony. This pump maintained the same level for a couple of months. Recently, my supply has been decreasing but AI don't think it is because of the pump but because I have returned to work and am not around my baby as much.
I actually have the EPS, the one without a battery. I got a great price for it--over $100 less that the LBI. I do not regret this choice as it is light weight (only 2.5 lbs) and I can easily carry it in a normal tote bag. Also, it is unlikely that I would need to pump somewhere without an outlet.
One flaw I see is with the flanges. Unlike the Medela flanges, they are one piece and do not come apart. So, it is not possible to change them out for different sizes. As we all know, all breasts are not the same and all nipples are not the same. Also, the flanges being in one piece makes them more difficult to clean. It is possible to use the Medela flanges with the pump but it feels a bit different.

Summary: Great Pump with a Great Price 2009-10-22
Comment: I have loved this pump. I have used it since I got home from the hospital and my daughter is now 10 weeks old. The only other pump I have experience with is the Medela Symphony in the hospital. I found the 3 minute letdown feature annoying on it. The Hygeia Enjoye jumps right in just like the baby and works well. It pumped better for me than the Symphony did in the hospital. I have never had any complications with it and use it daily, sometimes multiple times. I understand the reason for the baby recording button, however, I find it silly and annoying since I seem to hit it by accident. I have not had issues with pumping so it may be useful if you do. I would recommend this pump to anyone and love that it is more green and can safely be reused by others. Nothing has broke or worn out. I could think of a few improvements like the ability to pump into storage bags, etc, however, for the price and quality I give it 5 bright stars.

week return policy it has a button on it where you can record your baby cry'in or
laughing or what ever it comes pre set with a infant crying... and I believe
being successful at the pump is about more then just ploping down and turning
it on, I think your senses need to be in it. My mom said just the sound of a
baby crying would make her let-down it didn't matter if it was her baby or not
or where she was at. My aunt same thing! They said just wait until your at the
store and some baby starts crying and you soak your shirt! So I always bring a
little blanket of my baby's, a picture and now I push the button and it's my baby
making nosies and laughing. I even get the excited, antispating feeling right
before I pump. So it works for me to be in the mind of pumping for my baby before
I do so far this works for me. I make enough for my baby while he's at day 5 days
a week for 9+ hours a day. I don't pump at home but I do have a little hand
pump at home but I haven't used it in a long time. Ok sorry so long I just
wanted to tell you about my new pump that I love I do recommend it to any one
plus with the 3 week return if you don't like it send it back. There is a rechargable
battery inside that will save you tons of money.

The one thing that I don't like is the CARE button, where you can record your baby's cry. I love the idea, but the design of the button is all wrong. It is easily pressed while in the bag, and recorded over. So instead of it playing my babies cry, it plays me talking to someone, or the noise of the bag as I walk along. Luckily I don't really need the button for let down, but if this is one of the main reasons you want this pump, rethink. Apparently the company is aware & keeping that in mind for future incarnations.
I would have given this pump a 5 star rating, except for the issue with the CARE button.
