Comment: I discovered these by mistake when I breastfed my first child, and they helped me out through the difficult first few weeks. I used them both for heat to help with gorging and for cold to help with pain. They last forever, and were life-savers at times.
During my second pregnancy I looked for them everywhere but they had disappeared from drug stores, so I had to buy them on Amazon. So I bought 4 in case they disappear in the future.
I would also recommend this as a gift for any new mother who plans to breastfeed.

Comment: I used these when I was engorged and it really help to relieve the discomfort, and helped to shorten the period of time it took for the swelling to go down. I used them cool after every feeding.

Comment: Picture a round ice pack (that doubles as a heat pack) that has a big center cut out of it. That is what this is for the most part. I wish I had this sooner! This is really nice to have. I love the fact that they can go in the microwave or in the freezer. When microwaved it lasts around twenty minutes of heat.

Now I don't need them as much on me (child is older) however I use them still once in a while to heat up my breast shields. This makes the breast shields toasty warm for me.

Comment: My husband bought me two boxes, and I am so thankful. I keep one set for warm and one for cold (in the fridge always), and it makes pre and post breastfeeding or pumping much, much easier (and less painful!).

Comment: A great gift, whether the mom's planning on nursing or no. An even better gift if she's thinking about it and needs a nudge in the right direction from her nursing friend :o)
