I purchased a Medela Pump in Style back in early 2010 after the birth of my first child. I noticed milk going into the tubes and I happened to open the faceplate of the medela pump one day finding MOLD growing on my pump. In addition my pump stopped working after 9 months which was awful since I was exclusively pumping! I could absolutely not afford to buy another pump, so I borrowed the First Years miPump from my sister. I can not believe how great this pump is, especially for the price. The shields are comfortable, it is very quiet, and I was getting more milk! It does not suck as fast as the Medela, but it doesn't have to....it has what I would describe as a vibration to it that provides more stimulation and is actually quite comfortable. I could easily get 30 oz's pumping just 4 times a day! I highly recommend this pump!

Bought this for my daughter who had a preemie that wasn't eating much, at first. She needed to pump and save early milk production. She first borrowed one from a friend that didn't work well. Then she borrowed one from WIC. It worked better, but you had to use your finger over a hole to regulate the suction, one breast at a time. And she said it was only a little better than the one she borrowed from her friend. I got her this one. She was thrilled. She could pump both breasts, and hold her baby, talk on the phone, or whatever she needed to do. She loves the soft material of the bra. She said it burns up the batteries, so she used the wall plug. And this pump was less expensive than the other pumps, included a compatible bra, and was way more effective and less time consuming than the other pumps. Well worth the money!! Wish these were on the market when my children were babies!!!!

I have not used the product yet, but it was very easy to set up. Instructions are very clear. The bra is so soft and comfortable. It is extremely adjustable so it will fit during engorgement and when you loose weight. That was one of my concerns but not anymore. The breast cups are supper soft and I like the 10 different speeds. The bag is also a plus. It isn't as big as the picture makes it look, but it is the perfect size for everything to fit inside.
