This review is from: Evenflo Comfort Selet Manual Breast Pump (Baby Product)
This is my second breast pump. The first one I had was electric and I used it maybe a doz. times. First of all it made my nipples very sore because the suction was so vigoreous and I had no way to really control it and second, the motor died on me. Having a manual one is nice because you can control the vacuum to whatever feels comfertable. And this one in particular has many different settings. The silicone piece that fits inside the horn is SO comfertable and massages you while you are pumping. The nipple to the bottle is perfect for my little nurser. It is shaped just like a real nipple and the flow is perfect. The assembly is extremely easy along with washing! The only thing that I do not like about this product is that my hands get tired from pumping. But I guess that is expected when you pump manually.
WAY TO GO EVENFLO
Hope this helps!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars This pump sucks... Because it doesn't suck!, March 19, 2010
= Durability:1.0 out of 5 stars = Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars = Educational:1.0 out of 5 stars
This pump has a dial that is supposed to be able to increase or decrease the amount of suction applied but there is no difference between the lowest and highest settings. After a few uses it becomes noisy, and by that I mean it clicks and squeeks. And this sound is coming from who knows where since the handle assembly itself is not easily taken apart without breaking it. It was extremely difficult to extract much, if any milk with this flimsy pump since most of my time was spent putting the thing back together. I do not recommend the purchase or attempted use of this product. It may be priced attractively but it is not worth the frustration.

(REAL NAME)
I purchased this pump the day my milk really 'came in.' I was so engorged that I was in pain, I needed relief and my poor little baby boy couldn't even keep up. We ran out to Target and bought the cheapest pump they carried (the Evenflo Comfort Select Manual). It worked splendidly. I owner a couple of other pumps when I nursed my first son, an Avent ISIS and a Medela Harmony. This one worked the same if not better for the price. Have had it for over three months now, and if I need a quick manual pump that does its job this is it. Keep in mind I do not have to pump, the handful of times I have used the pump were to get relief. The one thing I like about this pump is the intensity dial, this was a helpful feature.
