I guess pumps work differently for different people, and of course you can't return one if it doesn't work for you, but this one was awesome for me. I get 4 ounces in about 5 minutes with this thing--I run it at almost the highest level, and I don't find it uncomfortable. I seriously don't know why you would need to spend more on a fancier pump. I would highly recommend it. My only warning is to be careful not to lose the little purple valve--I accidentally dropped it down the sink the first time I "pumped and dumped." In my opinion this pump is definately worth the price. The motor is slightly noisy but you aren't going to find one that isn't. The suction does not change when you run it on batteries, mine works just the same. But the only complaint I have is that at first is it a little tough on the nipples but I am just barely a new mom so mine are adjusting anyways. Otherwise-its wonderful. I am able to pump 4-8oz a sitting (about 20 minutes) with no problem. Right now I'm only pumping once a day but I've been doing that for nearly a month now and it works the same as the first day I used it. |
