I didn't notice it being too noisy because I've never used another one. Occassionally, the small parts inside the pump would stick or back up with milk, but it was only once in a while (and after many months of use) and it was a quick fix. I pumped probably about 3 days a week for 2 -3 feedings a day. I saw bad reviews when I bought it the first time, but justified myself by saying even if I had to replace it after a few months, it would still be 3x cheaper than the highly coveted Medela one (which I badly want but just can't afford). A relative had recommended it to me in the first place and had a good experience with it, so I tried it and was not disappointed. 7 of 8 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Evenflo Comfort Select Performance Dual Electric Breast Pump (Baby Product) And their company policy sucks too.
I bought this pump at local Target store and 2 weeks into using it, the motors lost the sucking powers. We called the customer service and they gladly sent in the replacement within 3 days. The new set of pumps survived for a week before loosing the sucking power. The pump is noisy (but that's what you get for the price). Upon calling the customer service for a refund of my money, they tell me the company policy is to not give refunds but exchange on any other Evenflo products only (online only). This means I'm going to use part of my money on stupid shipping instead of real products. The rep. says she is making an exception for me and that she will only be able to refund the cost of the pump and not the sales tax that I paid at the store. Reason for this: they never received the money for that.... Hello! Govt. receives the sales tax money and the merchants should be able to claim that back for their customers...Read more 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: This review is from: Evenflo Comfort Select Performance Dual Electric Breast Pump (Baby Product) This pump is noisy and it takes me about 45 minutes to get about 3 ounces out of one breast. I've been using it 3-4 times per week. The only good thing about this pump is that I didn't buy it; it was a gift. I hear lots of good things about Medela, so I'm going to buy one of their pumps. |
