I bought this pump because it was highly recommended on [...] and got good reviews here and I can truly agree. I have been using it for over 9 months and have not had any problems with it. It washes easily, is easy to assemble and is quiet.
Just a couple of notes about it:
The soft plastic phalanges do wear out after a lot of use and/or improper washing so you have to order more, but the only way to order more is to order a whole little replacement kit that also comes with more tubing. Not super expensive but still annoying. I have only had to order one extra set in nine months and that is probably because I was washing them to roughly.
I know people are told never to buy a used pump, but actually this one you could buy used. Milk never comes into contact with the white base unless you accidently spill some on it. All the other parts are replaceable.
Has a great bag, nice and roomy since this will now become your new purse to work for the next year. Yipee.
Major Disappointment,

I bought this pump and was disappointed. My pump came to me broken and I had to wait for a replacement. Then when I turned it on..it BEEPS! The whole time you use it it will beep. no where does this product advertise this and I never would have bought it if I had known given that the beep is annoying and disturbs my sleeping baby. I would recommend NOT buying this pump

we bought this pump and were immediately disappointed. Firstly the single action pump style wasn't nearly strong enough to simulate sucking. Secondly, there is no setting for single sided pumping. Thirdly, the pump comes without straps to hold the cups in place, so the mom has to hold them with her hand. unfortunately, if I had done the research myself instead of being rush by the lactating nurse, I would have seen this and saved myself 270 bucks. This products is not designed with ergonomics in mind. A total waste. There are better designed pumps out there.
