Bebe Dubon 2 Pack Silicone Nipple Shields

I purchased these along with the Bebek and Nurtria brands and took them to a breastfeeding support group I attend. The lactation consultant there checked all three out and was very impressed with this one. The others were either too thick or had a narrow nipple opening. The hospital carries the Medela brand and she thought these were very similar...and the price can't be beat. Sign up for Amazon Mom (it's free) and get them shipped for free! They are ok, they're made from the same material as Medela ones. These are the standard 24mm size(large) which isnt stated the size in the ad. for only $1.99 and you get 2 of them its a steal! however for me personally they're too large so thats why I gave them a 3 star rating. Had I known the size of them I wouldnt have purchased them for me. They are however made of a nice material(like the Medela ones are) so its more comfortable to use. I will try one and see if they are usable, if not atleast it was under $2 =]

I breastfed for 7 months with these nipple shields. I was in a lot of pain when I first started breastfeeding and these were my lifesaver. You can't beat the price especially when compared to how much medela charges. I tried medela shields as well, but found that the pointy part was very firm. On these Dubon shields the whole thing is very soft and pliable. My newborn couldn't latch on to the medela because of how firm it was, but the Dubon shields perfectly conformed to the breast, and I think made it feel more natural. The only thing I liked about the medela shields were the contact shields. But I just cut the top half of my dubon shields in a similar way, and it worked perfectly. I was worried about sharp edges from cutting it, but it was completely smooth.
These really are the best shields, and not just the best shields for the price, but actually the best on the market in my opinion (and I've tried a lot).
