Summary: I have a better idea! 2010-07-24
Comment: These trays are not useful. First, one ounce is too small. Second, the cups don't stay in the tray in the freezer (if you have a full freezer, like most, they fall out and like anything plastic once they hit the floor they break). Third, Once they are all filled you have to empty some to fill more and therefore cannot fill a big batch until they are all empty and your baby will lack variety.
Here's a better idea: Buy at least two silicone mini cupcake pans with at least 12 cups each. Puree or mash a large batch of food and spoon into baking cups. Place in freezer until frozen and then pop out into freezer bags. Use as little or as much as you would like. You are never stuck with mashed food that can't be stored because all your freezer containers are currently being used. For a toddler, use regular sized baking cups.

Comment: They break easily (never ask a man to fill these)! You can't put them in the microwave to unthaw. Useless.

Comment: These are a great idea but they don't stay closed. The 2-ounce containers from Baby Cubes have a slightly different lid and they don't pop open as much, so I would buy those if you're looking at this product. I take a 2-ounce container of veggies out of my freezer before bed, it defrosts in the fridge over night and I serve my baby out of it for a day or two until it's gone (scooping out a serving and putting it on his plate of course, not spooning directly out of the container). Works great, but the 1-ounce, as I said, they don't stay closed.

Comment: These are great! No more wasted baby food or storing one little bit in a giant container.

Summary: its ok 2010-01-25
Comment: these are very handy for freezing and measuring snacks however the lids break easily. they lasted about 6 months of everyday use.
