I ordered replacement valves for a breast pump. After two kids and 3 years, I think I know what the parts are supposed to look like and how they are supposed to work. I called to try to return my order as they arrived looking like the ones I've used for 3 years...warped and open at the end. I knew they wouldn't work correctly...but the MAN on the other end of the phone told me otherwise (while he was eating!). After I threatened bad feedback I was told that I could return the (damaged) items (at my expense) and once they received it and processed it (and assessed whether or not they thought the item was damaged/unusable), I could then get my money back (I didn't even ask about the 15% restocking fee that returned items incur). With a grand total of less than $7 for my order, it seemed my time was better spent warning other potential customers than to try to get my money back.

The original valve got a tear in it and therefore wouldn't pump. Bought this and now I can pump again!

Amazon had this item cheaper than most places, which is helpful since you can't find Ameda pump parts in any local stores.
