I am a first time mom who has been pumping 5-7 times per day for the past 2 months. I ordered these custom breast shields because I hoped they would make pumping more comfortable but they did not make much of a difference. I also feel like the insert does not fit into the unit well and the suction is reduced as a result. I ended up also getting the Super Shields from Pumpin' Pal and they were much more comfortable and the unit maintained suction better with the Super Shield inserts.

I got this for my wife because the flange that came with the pump where hurting her. Pending if the her breast is full, she switches between flanges and has greatly reduced the discomfort. I cannot believe that you pay so much for a breast pump and they don't include all 3 sizes. I'm very happy Amazon caries these because I could not find them anywhere. My only regret is that I didn't get these sooner and saved my wife a lot of suffering. These things are worth their weight in gold.
By the way, these fit lansinoh pumps!!!!

I wore a D or DD cup after delivering my baby and when I pumped I found out that I needed a larger flange to accommodate the swelling that occurs in the nipple when pumping. The flanges that came with the pump would work in the beginning but by the end of the pumping session I would have to adjust and readjust a lot to keep my nipple from coming into contact with the sides of the flange. These are a good fit.
